Granadilla Tree (Passion Fruit)

Giant granadilla, from the transitional forests above Mera, Pastaza Province. These are endemic passionfruits, which grow as climbing vines in the forests and are also cultivated in private gardens for their large and tasty fruit. They are among the largest fruiting passiflora; those fruits weigh about 2 pounds each. Ripe Badea are red-yellow, like mangoes, although they are generally harvested and eaten green as the fruit is considered to have better flavour when it is underripe. We also supply large varieties in small quantities for your rear garden, kitchen garden, home garden or large quantities for farmland development, fruit orchards, fruit farms, real estate layouts or commercial cultivation.
